Founded in the 1930s by Vito ("Bunky") and Ninfa Capadona, Bunky's was one of the first Italian restaurants in Madison.  It was originally located on the corner of Park and Regent Streets in the city's Italian-American Greenbush neighborhood.  Bunky's was one of three restaurants that made up "Spaghetti Corner."  Through the late 1960s Bunky's was the place to go for a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, and later one of the first Madison restaurants to serve pizza.

The Bunky's legacy was resurrected in 2004 by Vito and Ninfa's great-granddaughter, Teresa Pullara, and her husband, Rachid Ouabel, who have combined the flavors of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine at their new location on Atwood Avenue.

Food

Bunky's offers homemade ravioli, pasta, and kabobs, along with a selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free entrées and desserts.
